The Breakfast on Boal Bar was crafted for the newly opened breakfast hotspot in Boalsburg, PA. The clients envisioned a statement piece to be created that was unique to the State College area, that any breakfast-loving foodie couldn’t resist having a delicious meal at.

The bar highlights the scope of reclaimed wood with variations of texture, color, and character that each board hides beneath the surface of decades of exposure to the elements. A 12’ long bar top is encased in table top epoxy to stand up to the abuse of a commercial environment seeing daily use. A matching prep countertop on the kitchen side of the bar makes this piece beautiful and functional.

To accent the bar, a customized hostess stand was covered in reclaimed wood and is the first sight upon entering the restaurant. It received a reclaimed wood countertop to match the bar, displaying saw marks, nail holes and an authentic live edge. Storage shelves in the front display a custom made wooden Boal Ave. sign and areas for merchandise display.
